Breaking Josh to lead

As soon as Mia got back from cutting wheat we started breaking Josh to lead.  Everynight we go out and take Josh for a little walk.  Josh really likes to eat grass, so Mia was giving him a little before we got started.
I put her up next to the calf and I hold on to the end of the lead rope, in case he decides to run for it.  This is how we start out.
Hadley wanted in on the leading chain!
And now she is doing it all by herself!

Rowdy and Howdy

We got our 2012 Bucket Calves from the Fitzsimmon's Family. They were Hotel Fitzsimmons for our calves until we got back from vacation to pick them up! THANKS FITZSIMMONS! But once we got them home the girls couldn't wait to get out and feed them. Mia was ready to lead them that day! They do a great job of taking care of them and checking on them.  Rowdy and Howdy are suppose to be their names however, I'm not sure which one is which! Also Hadley calls Howdy, Pouty. So I'm really not sure what the names will end up being!
