Pilot Express Spook Train

We love our local Pilot Club that sponsers the 6th St Train.  They try to do a holiday theme with the train for every holiday and I have to say they do a FANTASTIC Job.  You might have seen my post about Western Days.  That was one theme they did.  Just recently we went for the SPOOK EXPRESS!  What Fun for the whole family!

Hadley playing the part. Not really, She really just didn't want her pic taken!

Mia really got into it!

This guy was funny!

Makin Momma Smile - Mia

Part of Mia's prayer on the way to town this morning: please help Hadley stop crying in 1 minute.

These are the things I never want to forget! That's why I document them on here!

11/1/12
Jesus, please help Noni so she doesn't go crazy.

11/3
Hadley will you come get this sticker because you are brave.

11/19 - Mom, why do they have these Christmas Decorations up and we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet? They should put up Turkey's and hearts. (In reference to the lights and decorations downtown).  I love that girl!

1/14 Adam has been gone for 6 days and at supper tonight Mia says "supper just isn't the same without daddy" makes my heart smile that we have made an impression on her with that part of our lifestyle.

5/15/13
Raking the hay is my dream.

 I'll remember that Mia when you're 16!

Pistol Pete

Hadley reading our Pistol Pete and Me book:

Pistol Pete for the United States of America

Her story went on to involve Jesus with Pistol Pete.

:)))

Love it!

Lazy Saturdy Morning - GO POKES

I shared with you my anguish this week over not being able to attend OSU Homecoming this year, in a previous post. So we decided to make our own OSU Homecoming right here at home! It sure helped with my withdrawal!

This part of my post on FB:
I think today I have appreciated technology the most! Saw pics of the signs on Edmond Low Library Lawn, got to see House Decs and The Parade on OKSTATE TV and the game was on FX. Don't feel like I missed much except for taking in the extra 80,000 in town for Homecoming, the awesome feeling of game day in Stillwater, Tailgating and Robert's pulled pork.

A little background for you about OSU Homecoming. When I was in college they always announced the person that had been at every Homecoming game since a certain year (long ago)  At that moment I set a goal for my self to be that person when I was 80+ attending homecoming games!!  I was going to be that person!  My dream went down the drain this week! But if you read my post about Mia's 1st Dance performance you will see that it was totally worth it!  A friend of mine said to me:
That's cause when u thought u loved something.......wait till u have kids and you'll realize what it's all about.  And boy, isn't that true! Lessons learned this week!

There is just nothin like the Greatest Homecoming in America!

Now back to our lazy Saturday with the POKES!

Watchin the Parade on OSTATE TV

Having breakfast OSU Style

Pledge of Allegiance

I just love lazy Saturday mornings with my girls. This is how they came out of their rooms dressed and ready to say the Pledge of Allegiance to me!

Mia's 1st Dance Perfomance

Mia had her 1st dance performance tonight and did great! I LOVE the PROUD MOM moment you get when you see your kid perform!

With that being said, I have to say, this is the 2nd OSU Homecoming I've missed since 1994. The first was the year Mia was born. Good thing I love that little girl to pieces because it was so hard not to head to America's Greatest Homecoming today! But that 1st dance performance made it all worth it!!!
Here is the video I promised some of you!

Pumpkin Patch 2012

We took our Annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch with our Faith Builders Sunday School Class.  It was a beautiful day to be there! Lot's of fun things there to enjoy too! I love to see Agri-Tourism at work!  We took the girls out around 3 and then met up with our class for a weenie roast and to make smores! A perfect afternoon/evening!

This was the 1st thing on Mia's list to do! She remember doing it last year!

Oh, look! Momma got out from behind the camera!
