Hadley

This is how we find Hadley most of the time when we are at home.  She has changed clothes at least once and many times is "Dressed Up"  She is my little Fashionista!
Stylin in her shades

Being a Big Girl at the Eye Dr
So we were a little clueless on how the patches went on at first!
If you notice in these pictures her left eye always has a "light" in it.  That is because the flash is not reflecting off the right part of her eye because it is crossed in. It is hitting the white part and making that reflection.

Ready for the day!

Her new glasses!
My baby girl just grew up!

This picture really shows you the problem with her eye.  It's her left eye.  See how it is turned in?

Thank you to everyone that has prayed for Hadley and our family as we have adjusted to this new norm. Hadley has been a trooper!  She wears her patch 6 hrs a day and does a really good job of wearing her glasses and taking care of them.  Tomorrow we are going to visit a Vision Therapist. We will see if there is anything else we can do to get her eye back on track.

Little Change

Made a little Facebook Change today.  If you look for me and find that you're not my friend, don't be alarmed. I unfriended over 500 friends and family. I'm keeping my account to get notifications for groups that I'm in.  Why did I make this change. Well it's been nagging at me for a while.  What kind of example do I want to set for my kids?  What kind of environment do I want in my home? Am I giving my husband and kids all my attention?  Where are my priorities? I heard a program on Focus on the Family Radio that really spoke to me today to just do it.  So I did. So, if you want to keep up with us, you will have to find us here. Now, I better get busy and get this little blog up to date and keep it up to date!

Happy New Year 2013

OSU's bowl game was in Dallas over New Years. So Adam and I took the opportunity to celebrate in the Big D! The game ended up being a blow out. OSU blew out Purdue and it was FREEZING cold! So much for going south and expecting warmer weather!
