Fun with cousins!

We headed south this weekend to spend some time with family and celebrate cousin Taylor's birthday before Adam starts to get super busy at work! Taylor had a couple friends, her sister and Mia over for a sleepover after we went to the circus. The circus had kind of a shabby tent but their performance was pretty darn good! Both our girls loved it except for the trapeze part and for some reason she was scared to death of that! Maybe she's not going to like heights! Then on Sunday the family got together for lunch at Salas'.  Mia gets to stay most of the week with Noni and Popi so we are headed home with just Hadley!  I'm sure she is going to have a ton of fun but we are sure going to miss Mia!

Family

We went on a walk tonight and as I followed behind I thought to myself....... My Little Family. This is what I waited for for so long and now I finally got it. My heart is full and overflowing! Thank you Dear Lord. It was worth the wait!

Sleep Over with the Cousins!

After my birthday celebration in Stillwater we headed on down to OKC to spend some time with our family!  The girls got to have a sleep over with their cousins at Uncle Michael and Aunt Grace's!  Uncle Michael made a pretty cool tent for the girls to hang out, watch TV and sleep in!

While we were there we ate at the Chuck House!  It has just what the menu says! I couldn't resist taking this picture while Adam was ordering on the phone from our table! It's a fun place to go and the food is pretty good too!

February = My Birthday! :)

My birthday is February 23rd! I take full advantage of my birthday and take the whole month to celebrate and sometimes a little more!! I love my friends and family that make my birthday so great!
Here are a few of the celebrations!

Celebrating with Eskimo Joe and Buffy!

Hadley enjoying the birthday cake!

Happy Birthday to US!
My dad and I share the same birthday!  We are exactly 25 years apart! I love sharing my birthday with him!  It's just not a birthday until I get to see my dad!

Hadley

Being the 2nd child, Hadley didn't get quite the coverage that Mia got as an infant.  She's doing more things everyday and developing into a sweet/ornery little girl! Some of her favorite things are being outside with Daddy, purses, shoes, dress up, baby dolls, animals, and whatever sister is doing! Oh and just this week she said "MIA" clear as day!

Going bowling with her baby!

First Pony Tail!

Worn out from a day of playing!

Playing dress up with Mia's shoes!

Ornery is written all over this girls face and it scares momma just a bit!

Clover Budette's

If you know me, you know I have a love for 4-H.  Some of the best days of my growing up were spent as a 4-Her and I believe 4-H helped me to be the person I am today - good or bad!   So needless to say I cannot wait to get my girls in 4-H! Well, in the state of KS you can't be a 4-Her until you turn 7.  Yes, 7!!  That's a long time!  There is a Clover Bud program for kids starting at 5 but the local extension agents have pretty much threatened my life if I start that.  I'm thinking 5 is a long time to wait too! So..... I have developed my own personal program for my girls........Clover Budette's!  I am so excited about this!  Call me crazy but I have even started the Personal Record for them!  What better way to keep track of their activities and milestones! I really am trying to convince Adam that Mia needs a bucket calf in open class this summer.  I don't quite have him on the same page yet.  But I do have him on the same page for our first project as the Clover Budette's:  Adopt A County Road!  I was out running one night on our road when I came upon Adam and the girls doing this.

I was so excited to see them doing this and at that exact time Clover Budette's was born! My heart was exploding with pride that as a family we can do something together to help care for our land.  Projects are just running through my head and I can't wait to teach my girls the things I know and learn new things together!
