Amazing Wonders Aviation VBS 2012

The girls attended the First Southern Baptist Church's bible school this past week.  Their daycare provider for the summer attends that church and helps out with bible school so they went along.  They had a GREAT week! Amazing Wonders Aviation was the theme and they had a really cool way to tie in one of their missionaries.  He is a pilot in the Amazon Jungle.  He built a plane from scratch and left off sound proofing to save on weight.  Well, once they got there, they found that they needed the sound proofing due to storms and being able to hear people on the ground for landing and what not.  So they tied this in with their program and the kids brought a tithe each day to help Andy the missionary out.  Their goal was $750 and they passed that and raised over $1,000 for him! I think he needs $2500 to do the sound proofing.  Their bible school ended with a family fun night where the kids did their program and then they had hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, jello, bouncy house and a huge bouncy slide!

Hadley and "I Don't Want To"!

Hadley is very adamant when she doesn't want to do something or doesn't like something. At VBS family fun night there was hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones, bouncy house and bouncy slide. Hadley was very hesitant about the bouncy house and the big bouncy slide. We could not get her to do it and heard "i don't want to". Finally, Ali drug her in and she loved it! Then Bailey got her to go thru the big slide and she loved every minute of it! Thxs girls!
