Hadley's 1st Birthday!

So I am a little behind on the 1st Birthday Post! I guess better late than never!

In case you don't know, I LOVE birthdays!  And I will take every opportunity to celebrate that I can!  Both of our girls are little miracles to us so you can bet your bottom dollar I am going to celebrate the heck out of their day of birth!

Hadley had a GREAT 1st Birthday!  She was the 1st Birthday Girl! We first celebrated the weekend before her birthday with our Oklahoma Family since we were there for Aunt Grace's wedding.  Then on her actual birthday on September 1st we had our good friends Ani and Brent and my mom over to celebrate.  We also celebrated Ani's birthday that night, since her birthday was September 8th!

And we are not done celebrating yet! We are going to take the girls to celebrate both of their birthdays at the zoo on Oct 3 to celebrate since we never got there this summer! Then it will be time to celebrate Mia Grace's 3rd Birthday on October 8th!

Ok, so now that you know how much I LOVE birthdays I'll get back to Hadley's 1st Birthday.  We celebrated at the Lake with our family and had a great time! Even though I think everyone was exhausted from Aunt Grace's wedding the night before! So a Huge Thanks goes to all of you for coming to celebrate Hadley's 1st Birthday! The Cakes! Hadley's dig in cake was from Aunt Grace's wedding, the night before. There happened to be 1 layer of strawberry that hadn't been cut into so we snagged it for the dig in cake! I loved the #1.  My sister-in-law's sister-in-law made it (got it). She did a great job!

Hadley Layne what a joy you have been to our lives! You were such a SURPRISE but we wouldn't have it any other way! It took a little while to get over the initial shock of your arrival but you have worked out just perfect! GOD is SO GOOD!  You are quite the ornery little girl and quite the dare devil! You and your sister are best buds.  Whatever Mia is doing you want to be right there doing the same thing! I have found you standing on your play table, standing in your rocking chair or play table chair.  When you were little you would pull hair and laugh the most ornery laugh.  You love books and to play dress up and sunglasses!  I think your favorite thing is to go with Daddy on the golf cart to feed the steers and mommy can't get enough of sitting and rocking with you!  You are quite the chunky monkey as you LOVE to eat!!  You are weighing in in the 90th percentile for weight at 24 lbs and 30 1/4 inches long! You started walking at 11 months, have 4 teeth and are working on 3 more! I love to look at your smile and hear you laugh! While I'm sad to see my little baby turn into a little girl, I'm so excited to see what this next year has in store for you!
