We try to teach good values to our kids. I talked to Mia about having her friends bring canned goods to her birthday party instead if gifts. She still got lots of gifts from family and friends. She wasn't too sold on the idea at first but she cane around by party time and she was ready to donate! So tonight we took the donation to the Food Bank. She had 27 pounds of food to donate! She told the lady working that she had a donation. They weighed it and then she got a hug from the worker. Momma was super proud! So was daddy and Hadley. The best part was on the way home. We were talking about how Jesus wants us to help others and what she did was a good thing. She tells me "I just want to jump up in the sky and give Jesus a hug! If that doesn't melt a momma's heart I don't know what does!
