2013 Commodity Classic

We made it to Sunny Florida!

The Commodity Classic is a very large expo for Ag companies.  Within the Classic these Ag Companies host dealers and growers that have raised the best corn, beans, sorghum from all across the 50 states and reward them for the yields they make growing corn, beans and sorghum.  We made the trip with Dekalb and winners Tom Taylor and Clark Bibb. Tom and Clark have both been National and State Winners.

National Winners get to meet and greet the artist that performs at the concert. Thanks Tom! This year it was Rodney Atkins.
The Dekalb Awards night was at Hard Rock Cafe
They were ready for us!

Adam and Tom took on the MANTA! 1st time was better than the 2nd!
This is why we were there
Way to go Tom!
Good Job Clark!
Way to go Tom!

The Last night we had another concert from the World Class Rockers. These guys came together from previous bands such as Journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steppenwolf, Santana and Boston. It was rather comical to see these guys in their aged state perform.  The effects of their rocker days had definitely set in! We were pretty sure Santana was high! They did a pretty good job though.
Fran Cosmo from Boston
Randall Hall from Lynyrd Skynyrd
And the Peterson Brothers showed up!

We took an evening trip to Howl at the Moon. The place was packed when we got there but luckily we got a table.  This was on the board when we got there. We immediately knew we were in the right place!
This popped back up on the board a little later after if had been removed.
And it was just cool to see this in the night life of Orlando!

We had a great trip thanks to my husband who sells the seed, Dekalb for providing the contest and being great hosts, Tom and Clark for entering the contest and winning! Here's to San Antonio 2014!
